Hot bonders make clamping and heating strain gauges fast and easy. These specialized suction cups contain flexible electric heaters and thermocouples for applying precise pressure and temperature for curing strain gauge adhesives. Cumbersome clamps, weights, springs, jacks, and custom jigs are no longer needed. Hot bonders quickly secure gauges regardless of surface orientation, curvature, distance from edges, and features like rivets and lead wires. Furthermore, awkward heat lamps, heat guns, cartridge heaters, and ovens are no longer needed.
